Rangers’ season goes from iffy to ‘not great’ after being linked with 32-year old free agent Fabian Delph, a player not deemed good enough for struggling Everton.
The former England international with 20 caps is currently without a club, after Frank Lampard rejected a contract offer to extend his stay at Goodison, which isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement when they’re in the relegation zone.
And so it goes that Rangers are now being linked with a move for Delph, who is a midfielder, despite the fact we’re basically rotten all over the park, especially defence.
No, we’re not going to give you propaganda, or spin it positively, Delph is a signing we 100% don’t need and if he’s not good enough for doomed Everton then he sure as sh*t isn’t good enough for Rangers who are trying to fight for the Scottish title and make a credible fist of it in the UCL.
Is this mischief-making by them across the city trying to rub our noses in it with recent performances and results? We can only assume.
Fabian Delph is not a player we want, need, or even wish to see in our reserves.
If he’s deemed surplus by Everton, he’s definitely not up to scratch for Rangers.
Didnt he agree to come to us before ? Then ditched us at last minute for Villa ? Or i might be getting mixed up with another player.
Dan-Axel Zagadou and Jason Denayer are both currently free agents and they are considerably better players than we have in defence. Shame we always seem to get linked with duds. There is a lot of talented players in many positions available that could solve a few of our problems.
Why are we always going for over 30s it will soon be called the rangers retirement fund if this keeps up.
