The Daft Mick still seems to think he’s Rangers manager, sort of, after a ridiculous Instagram update after his firing which appeared to take credit for ‘this group of players’ and wished them good luck.
In a preposterous show of his inability to keep his gob shut and maintain a dignified silence, the eedjit had to take to social media in a statement which summed up the man’s delusion.
He said:
“Thank you @rangersfc to everyone behind the scenes at the training ground and Ibrox, to the board, staff, fans and all the players. I will always follow and support the club from afar and wish you every success. Now is the time for everyone to unite fully behind Steven Davis and the team in the coming games. There is still so much to play for this season and I have a strong belief in this group of players. Thank you and good luck. MB”
While he at least mentions Steven Davis, the rest is really mental, in all honesty. Michael Beale is still telling us what to do and praising the squad he built, and coming only a couple of days after he accused the fans of not helping, it’s more than a bit rich.
We’re actually more than a bit stunned that he had the temerity to make a statement this quick, and not stunned at the same time.
He really likes the sound of himself, of his own opinion, of his own voice, and even two minutes after being fired he’s still trying to dictate the narrative.
Goodness me, the worst manager Rangers have ever had?
He’s up there, boy is he up there.
Yeh thanks for getting humpted of killie, septic,n sheep n 7 points behind, and 5-1 psv too yeh great,
