Dutch boss Pascal Jansen says no to the Rangers job

AZ Alkmaar manager Pascal Jansen will not be becoming the next Rangers manager after officially ruling the move out.

Speaking before his side’s Conference League showdown tonight with Polish cracks Legia, Jansen finally broken his silence on the story and without showing any disrespect, the Dutch boss of high-flying AZ had this to say on the links:

“I don’t know if there has been contact with AZ, but there has been no contact with me.”

So, first of all this confirms the ‘ITK’ stuff from a few outlets claiming he was interested was absolute fiction. He goes on:

“I also received it and received some messages from England, but I don’t know where it came from.”

So, absolutely no approach for him, and he’s oblivious to anything official. He finishes with:

“It’s completely out of the question.”

So that’s a definitive and absolute nope, and he has said no. Did we mention it’s a no.

Simply put he has no interest in leaving Holland and is quite happy where he is.

Which is fine, because Ibrox Noise really wasn’t that into him coming, as we explained in our analysis of his qualities.

So Jansen won’t be Rangers next manager, and that’s fine by us. We’ll just leave that one there.
