It could be all change at Rangers this summer, and it should be if they want to challenge Celtic once again for the Scottish Premiership title.

The Old Firm rivals have seen Ange Postecoglou depart for Tottenham Hotspur, but that only brought in an old face in Brendan Rodgers. With a different squad available to what he had in the past, this could be an opportune moment for Michael Beale and his team to challenge.

Wagering on Scottish football has not always been the most popular as the SPL is thought to be a two-team league. Still, with the changes being made this summer, there may be more excitement around what might potentially happen in the upcoming season.

Bettors may have found that they are now able to get better and more competitive odds on the betting sites not on Gamstop, where they can enjoy a limitless experience, even if they decided to self-exclude themselves from other sportsbooks.

They can use these sites to find some of the best bonuses that can enhance the experiences that are enjoyed, although they may want Rangers to help them out by making some changes to the squad that they have.

Summer of change at Rangers

Individuals such as Allan McGregor, Filip Helander, Scott Arfield, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos have already left Ibrox this summer as their contracts came to an end. Still, it appears there could be even more change to take place for the Light Blues.

According to reports, it is thought players such as Jon McLaughlin, Ben Davies, Glen Kamara, Scott Wright and Antonio Colak could all be leaving the blue half of Glasgow before the end of the current transfer window.

Outgoings are needed this summer, with the squad being bolstered by the arrival of five players. Jack Butland, Kieran Dowell, and Dujon Sterling have all arrived on free transfers, while Sam Lammers was acquired from Atalanta for a fee thought to have been in the region of €3.5 million. Naturally, these arrivals put some in a difficult position, as competition only becomes fiercer for their spot. Abdallah Sima will also offer something new.

McLaughlin may find it difficult with Butland’s arrival, especially as Robby McCrorie also continues to come through the ranks. In contrast, the arrival of Lammers may make Colak’s position a little more precarious as there are a plethora of attacking options on the books at Ibrox.

Scott Wright and Ben Davies appear to have only had a few moments that have justified why they are playing for the Gers since arriving, while Glen Kamara appears to have been on a decline over the last season and the club is believed to be prepared to try and cash in on him while he continues to attract interest elsewhere.

It will be interesting to see if a transfer does go through for the players that are reportedly on the move, while it would not be a shock if we were to see other individuals be moved on, too.
