Rangers today host Dundee Utd in what is beyond must-win. Anything less than a win today and Rangers’ current mini-crisis (if it isn’t already) explodes into a full-blown hysterical fit, and we’d be surprised if GVB remains in office,
Utd are the worst team in the SPL – Celtic pushed 9 past them on their patch without reply, showing exactly what Rangers have to match up to, and we’re at home.
While we absolutely don’t expect 9 goals today (we just don’t have the faith in the side, sorry) we do expect a very convincing win.
But the pressure is now on.
Whatever team he puts out there, Gio has to deliver a rout for the home dressing room – we need to see a lot of goals, and some sense of real ambition in the league.
A bread and butter 1-0 is, we guess, enough, but it would be a long, long way off satisfying and wouldn’t help the goal difference at all.
Fans are extremely unhappy with everything at Rangers right now, from the board, to management, to the squad – it’s not working at all, and boy a big win today would remove that noose from a lot of necks.
So come on Rangers, get the guts going, get the goals flowing and let’s see some positives coming out of Ibrox.
Lord knows we need it.
Wouldn’t hold my breath to see a glut of goals. This team is weak defensively, no creativity in midfield and powder puff up front….. no to mention a manager who hasn’t got a clue domestically, especially awayvfrom home ( I know we’re at home today)
