Rangers transfer rumour mill roundup as deadline day nears
He's gone, but what is his legacy?

So now that deadline day madness approaches, what we can we expect from Rangers in the last couple of days?

Ibrox Noise brings you all the latest incomings and outgoings from Govan.

Outgoings:

Niko Katic is now interesting Maccabi Haifa. The unwanted defender was looking like heading back to Split permanently, but it appears to have fallen through and the Croats have gone elsewhere. Instead it’s the Israeli giants who are reportedly interested according to homeland press, even if they want to spell his name Katich.

Stephen Kelly has been on Motherwell’s radar for some time, and having been told he can leave, the midfielder badly needs a new gig. Hopefully he gets the move he needs before the strike of midnight.

Ryan Kent is, as we said earlier, interesting Leeds again, with the need from the Elland Road side to strengthen their squad going into a tough PL campaign. It’s said it’ll take around £15M to prise him from Ibrox so we’ll see if Marsch’s men stump that much up.

Glen Kamara has gone cold yet again – no interest we’re aware of, and it seems the Finn remains at Ibrox till January at the earliest.

Morelos offered to Fenerbahce? He’s definitely not happy at the moment, but whether the Turkish media are right that his agent is hawking him over there is another matter.

And as far as we know, those are the only active cases.

Incomings:

Ross Barkley has divided fans hugely – the AM was freed by Chelsea yesterday by ‘mutual consent’ and he’s been linked with a bunch of clubs, including Rangers. Most fans don’t want him, some do, but his former £200K pw wages make him unlikely regardless.

Bill Gilmour definitely won’t be coming any time soon – he’s said to be in talks with Brighton over another loan deal out of Stamford Bridge.

And frankly we’re not actually being linked to anyone else in the past little while so that is really all we have for you.

Gio has said he’s happy with the squad but we do have plenty of cash now. Whether a last-minute signing is made, time will tell.
