FiveThirtyEight’s soccer index has confirmed that the biggest, toughest and most powerful group in the Champions League this season is….

Group A.

That’s right, the well-respected statistics site has revealed that Ajax, Liverpool, Napoli and Rangers is the most valuable and difficult group in the whole competition, after breaking down the reputation, coefficient, achievements and values of each team in recent times.

The second most is C (Bayern, Barca, Inter, Viktoria) and the easiest by some massive distance is Group H of PSG, Juve, Benfica and Maccabi.

It goes to show once more the staggering stock Rangers now have, that thanks to our incredible exploits in Europe the past 4 seasons, we are not only back where we belong in the Champions League, but we were measured as the most dangerous side by far in pot 4 and have made Group A the hardest group it could ever have been.

You know, we might just get out of this group.

Extraordinary.
