£10M bid imminent for Glen Kamara as Rangers star nears exit

Glen Kamara appears to have played his last match for Rangers after the midfielder fell down GVB’s pecking order amid claims in the press that French cracks Nice are to bid £10M for him.

The Fin has been down the priority list this season, with clear lack of interest on his part to be at Rangers any more, and the manager has not been picking him half as much as normal, with mostly sub appearances.

And he was of course omitted entirely from the squad today to face Hibs with the French interest ringing heavily in the ears.

This is a player who has been set on an exit for quite some time, considering his time at Rangers to be at an end and seeking a new challenge.

He isn’t interested in the Champions League like Joe Aribo also wasn’t, and is happy just to move on now and find a fresh club and new environment.

And we have no objection to this at all.

Kamara is a player we on Ibrox Noise have been disinterested in for some time, given his lack of effort and workrate the past year or two, and with his not being in the squad today, it seems to give fuel to his likely exit, said to be joining former Leicester star Kasper Schmeichel as Nice build a squad to mount a bit of a challenge in Ligue 1.

We hope this one can be done soon and perhaps a certain B. Gilmour could replace him?

More as we get it.
