Rangers have been given a giant boost for Wednesday after yet another injury concern was erased when Ryan Jack confirmed he’s ready for the Europa League final.

The midfield dynamo hasn’t had his injury issues to seek this season and last, but confirmed his latest issue, a calf knock v Leipzig, has healed and he will be available, if selected, to play in Seville on Wednesday.

He said:

“I probably wouldn’t have thought a year ago that I would be standing talking to you guys about playing in a European final. It’s mad the way football works and sometimes if you work hard you get your rewards. I will be (fit). I took a knock last week but it’s nothing major. With the two Cup finals coming, there’s no point taking any risks this week.”

From the horse’s mouth, so now the only Rangers player there’s any concern over is Kemar Roofe, otherwise it’s a full squad for midweek, aside the usual long term injuries and ineligibles.

It’s a massive, massive fillip, and there’s next to no chance Jack won’t start in such a big game, so we’d expect him alongside Lundstram and Kamara in midfield, with Kent, Aribo and at the moment, likely Wright up top.

Either way, to have Jacko definitely back is delightful.

Just down to Kemar now…
