The fallout from last night’s tempestuous last 16 second leg at Ibrox has continued, with lies being spread about who said what.
Ibrox Noise takes you through the undeniable facts of this situation and separates fact from fiction:
First off, following a coming together of the players, Ondřej Kúdela absolutely 100% spoke in Glen Kamara’s ear with his hand covering his mouth. That is undisputed.
Kamara, normally the most passive and mild-mannered member of Rangers’ squad, reacted in absolute rage and went for Kudela.
Captain Connor Goldson got involved after learning what was said and defended his man with his life, going for the Czech.
The bad blood continued up the tunnel but despite all the accusations Praha have made about police being alerted, this is a confirmed lie as they were not, and have announced that themselves.
Steven Gerrard has defended Kamara and will continue to do so.
Ondřej Kúdela claims he said ‘you f*cking guy’ which is of course a complete and total fabrication.
Praha also allege UEFA delegates were in the tunnel and witnessed it all – but then if they lied about the police, what else will they lie about? We’re sure Europe’s governing body can assist here…
All in all, it’s deeply unsavoury, but we stand behind our club and Glen Kamara, and we can assure you, there’s more to come on this.
