Two missing but major return for Rangers at Hamilton

Tomorrow we travel a short journey to New Douglas Park to play the team currently bottom of the league in Hamilton, a fixture which shouldn’t cause any problems for a side such as ourselves.

Thankfully no fresh injuries to worry about but we will still be without Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos, while Scott Arfield could make the bench and despite a notice of complaint Kemar Roofe is still available.

As for our opponents they will be without injury prone David Templeton and youngster Shaun Want who are both out injured.

Mass changes could be made as Rangers should expect a comfortable victory over Brian Rice’s side, and manager Steven Gerrard stated that new signings Jack Simpson and Scott Wright could feature.

Rangers come into this fixture keeping 3 clean sheets in a row with the most recent being Wednesday night’s 1-0 victory over St. Johnstone, a score-line which quite frankly flattered the visitors as Rangers dominated for most parts of the game.

Last time out against Hamilton was this season’s biggest victory so far, an 8-0 victory at Ibrox, which saw 5 different goal-scorers with Scott Arfield and Brandon Barker scoring and Joe Aribo, Kemar Roofe and James Tavernier all grabbing a brace.

We shall see if Rangers can conjure up an entertaining match for the supporters.
