Steven Gerrard has revealed a game-changing announcement which is set to seal 55 and frankly calm fans down.

Ibrox Noise has noticed in the past week, ever since Hamilton, a real worry in the ranks about the title, given the poor performance.

We sure had a go about it as well, and venting our spleens all over your screens, but having got that catharsis out, we have attempted to reassure you that 55 is coming.

Despite that, a great number of fans are being cautious to the extreme, not celebrating till the trophy is lifted, and while we get that concern, the implication is the team will implode.

And true, the side hasn’t played well in recent weeks at all, and a bad result or two was on the cards.

So Stevie’s confirmation that Scott Arfield returns this weekend to face Killie, in conjunction with the certain starts for both Steven Davis and Ryan Jack, should see a smooth transition back to winning ways and a definite lack of risk-taking from a manager who was a major reason for Rangers’ dropped two points last weekend.

There’s no denying the team selection was a bust last time round, and Gerrard to his credit admitted it, and he will NOT make that same mistake again.

Whether Arfield is ready or not to start the match we’re not 100% sure, but his two mates Davis and Jack are, and all three are the difference between Hamilton and Rangers winning.

Bring it on.
