Nightmare; Rangers’ season in danger of collapsing

Rangers’ season has been plunged into further chaos after today’s scheduled match v Livi was called off due to adverse weather, joining the St Johnstone match on the backlog.

Of course, the problem here is the SPFL and Rangers have been completely unable to find a new slot for St Johnstone, so finding a space for another match still has become a complete nightmare for scheduling bosses and unless Rangers’ season is extended with a skeleton squad (most of the internationals will be off for the European Championships this summer) there is a massive deadlock now.

This puts the whole season into absolute chaos – there are simply no available slots before the end of the season, and with two matches and 6 points ‘in hand’, Celtic have a free pass to go 13 points clear with no apparent way for Rangers to claw that back any time soon.

This makes things even harder.
