Breaking: Rotherham consider second bid for Allan

17

With the dust barely settled on
the breaking news that Celtic have entered the race to sign Rangers’ target Scott Allan, Rotherham have resurfaced with reports that they are
returning with a second bid following the rejected first.
These latest developments are
throwing several tigers among a flock of seagulls, and Allan’s head will surely
be spinning right now, while hoping Rangers come back with a fourth bid to get the playmaker over to Murray Park.
Celtic manager Ronny Deila had
this to say today when quizzed on his interest in Allan:

“Can’t comment on anything until something
is done.”
In no mood to deny interest, it
seems. And Rotherham, as stated, have
re-emerged in the saga:
“Rotherham are considering making a second
bid for Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan, according to Sky Sources”
The whole soap opera has taken
many twists and turns already, but that is now a further two in the one day.
It is absolutely anyone’s guess
where Scott Allan will be come September the first 2015 – we know he wants to switch to Ibrox, but the whole thing is now up in the air, and Rangers’ manager Mark Warburton has been entirely coy on the Ibrox Club’s interest.

  2. Dave King should just get his finger out. If it's £1m hibs want then so be it. He's worth every penny in this day n age. If we loose out to tattie hawkers it will come back to haunt us. Sort it out Dave was your promised £20MILLION

    • Nonsense. If he wants to play for Rangers, he'll wait. Hibs have stated that they will not sell to Rangers. They will accept anything they can get from any other club, but they're not interested in selling to Rangers.
Scott Allan knows the score. It's up to him. I'm a Rangers fan. If I was him I'd wait. But I'm not him.

  4. Scott Allan knows that Rangers want him. He knows that Hibs will not sell him to Rangers, tis season, so it doesn't matter how much they offer.
Rangers have made a bid. It is a reasonable bid. Rangers have no interest in giving Hibs a large fee, that they could use to strengthen their squad in the promotion chase, even if they would sell. So they should leave it up to young Scott. If he wants to play for Rangers, he should be prepared to wait. If not, so be it. If he waits, he will achieve the status of an idol, at Ibrox, before he has even kicked a ball.
Who Knows? This activity and an Allan refusal to back down, might make Hibs see the potential for division, within the fan base and the dressing room. They might come to their senses and take what they can get from Rangers. We'll see.

  5. Yeah niceone dj treak, Allan isn't signing for celtic his agent had tried to push through move and Allan has said earlier tonight that he isn't interested in the move but was flattered by the interest ,hence what I said all along, he is coming to gers

  6. Ladbrokes offering 4to1 Allan going to Celtic, says it all, bookies rarely wrong, Allan will be a rangers player sooner or later.

  7. Christ… I won't be losing sleep over it… Who gives a fuck. If he wants to play for them then he can… His old man can disown him like the rest of us!

  8. I don't understand why Gers couldn't have struck a deal where we buy Allan for 300k and immediately loan him to an SPL team for the season.

That way the player gets his move, Gers get their man and Hibs don't strengthen a rival this season.
