In a brand-new Ibrox Noise poll, Ibrox Noise readers have stuck to their guns over Rangers’ chances of winning 56 this season, by increasing the optimism from 57% ‘yes’ in a previous poll to 58%.

In the smallest possible increase, Rangers supporters are now a fraction more optimistic about winning the league than they were a week or two ago, owing, we’d say, a lot to the win over Hearts at the weekend.

30% believe Rangers will not win 56 this season, down from 38% last time, while a minor 12% aren’t sure, up from 5% previous.

The numbers are fairly consistent in terms of those saying yes, it’s a trending result which probably reflects supporter-wide, with around 4000 on the last poll and over 2000 on the most recent one.

The numbers have pretty much remained.

The ‘no’ has gone down enough to suggest the cup win at Hearts and the potential of Connor Goldson and Fabio Silva remaining out of the team are being viewed as major boosts and positives, so we’ll see if that happens.

But the fans are sticking generally with the same numbers.

About 56%-59% say we will win 56 this season, while about 40% or so say either no or don’t know.

60/40, basically.
