Matondo & Tillman start; predicted Rangers XI to face Liverpool

So finally, it’s the big double header, Liverpool v Rangers. Ibrox Noise gets straight into the guts of this one and predicts the XI to face Jurgen Klopp’s powerhouse side.

Goals, well, easy enough, that’s Allan McGregor, and there’s no one we’d trust more between the sticks for this one. Even Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish thinks he could be the difference.

Defence mostly picks itself. Tavernier, Goldson and Barisic are stick-ons, with the final slot being down to King or Davies, with Sands suspended.

Midfield, well, it’s John Lundstram and Ryan Jack, with Davo and Kamara benched.

Attacking trio? Well, if it’s not Ryan Kent we’ll eat our shorts, and next to him among the three it’s two of Arfield, Matondo, a slim chance of Lawrence and Tillman. We’d be staggered if Scott Wright ever starts in the UCL again for this club.

And up front obviously it’s Colak.

So, your Ibrox Noise XI?

McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, King, Barisic; Lundstram, Jack; Kent, Tillman, Matondo; Colak.

There is flexibility, Arfield is in with a chance of featuring, but we think that’s your team. Probably wildly wrong.

Have to wait a while to find out.
