One thing we will touch on is the disgusting rejection by UEFA for Rangers to show respect to Her Majesty with a rendition of GSTK/Q before kick off.

As we discussed earlier, we weren’t yet aware of an official request by the club for UEFA’s permission for this song to be played, but as the day wore on one was definitely submitted.

And rejected, for absolutely no reason other than it’s their trainset and they won’t allow anything ‘un-UEFA’.

Rangers rightly played the song anyway, which will either incur a fine or see the club booted out the competition (don’t think UEFA are above such vile behaviour) entirely, but the governing body, who tried to pretend they were social justice warriors over the European Super League, are a greedy bunch of self-serving suits who will prioritise profit above humanity.

For a group who dare to have a ‘respect’ slogan with regards racism, the hypocrisy stinks when it comes to their respect for anything else.

This wasn’t just unfair, it was completely disrespectful to an entire nation who is in mourning – had it been a UEFA President to pass away, we can assure you the governing body would be expecting every competing team delivers full respect to their loss.

But the Queen? Nah, she doesn’t matter – not enough for us to let a stadium play a song in her memory.

Abhorrent.
