GVB hits Rangers fans with another sickening blow
We need something good....

Rangers have been hit by yet another sickening hammer blow after rising star Alex Lowry, who many fans wanted to see in a bigger role especially for tomorrow, was ruled out.

The 18-year old playmaker, who has impressed greatly on his fleeting appearances this season, was hoped to help dull the loss of Alfredo Morelos by making more of an impression and getting bigger chances, but that certainly won’t be happening tomorrow.

It means that Rangers are without Alfredo Morelos, Ianis Hagi, Nnambi Oboforh, Alex Lowry and Filip Helander for the trip to Portugal, and while one or two of them are moot or long term, there’s at least four there we could have done with.

It’s quite frankly yet another pain in the backside adding to all the pains in the backside Rangers fans are suffering at present, and quite bluntly the fans could use some good news.

The best we can hope right now is Gio can overcome the negatives and find a rabbit in a hat for tomorrow night and get a titanic result to give us a chance for the second leg.

But we’ll have to do it without Morelos and Lowry for sure.

Great.

  1. If we are calling an untried youngster missing as a sickening blow then we are really in dire straights.
