So it’s 10 years today, or 10 years yesterday, depending on how you date it.

10 years yesterday Rangers filed for administration, 10 years today it was confirmed.

A horrific stain on the history of our great and glorious club, but a time we must not forget, and that we must respect.

Rangers were done, diddled, screwed, ruined by so many charlatans wanting to exploit our situation for their own ends, with diabolical regime after diabolical regime dominating us until Dave King, for his faults, brought us out of purgatory with his merry men and began the road to true recovery.

But 10 years ago… is hard to believe. An entire generation of Rangers fans have grown up not knowing till the past couple of years what Rangers are really about, because they were just glints in their parents’ eyes, or were mere pups not even in their teens.

For us older Bears, it’s a true nightmare, seeing our club go through that – I could be here all day talking about the ins and outs of what us fans suffered, but we were the ones who understood, for all their trying, that the likes of Ross Perry, Darren Cole and Emilson Cribari just weren’t up to the standard required…

A full decade though – look how far we’ve come since that fall.

Indeed, facing Annan at the weekend with Filip Helander and not Fraser Aird this time showed just what a difference the club has undergone, what a transformation – and now that same club will face European goliaths Borussia Dortmund.

Ten years, and what a journey.

Never forget, never forgive?

We’ll leave the final word to Ally.
