Rangers have been linked today with an interest in another Anderlecht star, this time their Ghana-born Belgian U21 international Francis Amuzu.

Having plundered the excellent Belgian market previously for Ianis Hagi and Kemar Roofe, to name but two, Rangers are said to be back in for the 22-year old winger who’s thought to be a proper outright solution for the RW slot, being as he is, a pure right winger.

The position has been a problem slot for Rangers, with barely a single quality winger in that berth aside the Portuguese Daniel Candeias, and Amuzu would present a fine acquisition.

His numbers are decent, with 3 assists and 2 goals in this season’s Jupiler League Pro, in 17 outings, and the flanker represents an improving talent overall with a lot of potential.

He is contracted to 2024 so he wouldn’t be a free, and he’s also known to be very versatile and can play all manner of attacking positions as well as filling in in midfield too.

But RW is his preference , and we’re hearing contrasting reports where he is interested in the move to Ibrox, while Rangers are monitoring him.

So we’re not sure whose camp this one comes from.

But he’s a decent player and we’ll see if Gio is sincerely interested in him.
