Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed he’s spoken to summer signing Nnamdi Ofoborh and there remains no ETA on the midfielder’s return despite a heartwarming photo the ex-Bournemouth man posted of himself practising some weeks ago.
Ofoborh was recruited as a hot prospect in midfield, but his initial medical missed a heart issue and subsequent tests, once the 22-year old (who turned 22 last month) was signed, revealed some kind of heart malfunction or virus.
It’s meant the lad has missed a tonne of football and hasn’t kicked a ball in anger since March for loan club Wycombe.
And Gio has confirmed there’s no particular tangible news, and all we can do for now is monitor him, and let the doctors do their thing on him.
Gio said:
All we can do for the lad is hope, really.
