Celtic meltdown as Rangers refuse to back down

We loved today for more than just taking a 3-point lead.

We loved today for more than Alfredo Morelos finally getting his 100th.

We loved today because Celtic fans, for a good 30 minutes, let themselves believe Rangers were going to be well beaten.

We did not play well today, we did not look sharp, and our play was lacking cohesion.

But we never gave up. Despite that sizzling Ronan strike, and the multiple calamities that led to it, Rangers never stopped in this match.

This is the kind of win that secures titles.

We didn’t play as badly as we did at Dundee, and we showed more grit, determination and a never say die attitude.

This is why breaking Celtic hearts mattered so much.

They thought they had a glimmer, that they’d be just one point behind.

It’s back to four, thanks to Rangers never conceding defeat.

What Morelos’ goal meant to him was the world, and it wasn’t just about his 100th. It was about scoring the winner. Winning the points.

Rangers may not have played completely great today, but we won.

And that’s all that mattered on this occasion.

  1. Fantastic 3 points this is the type of game that wins titles!

Considering we played on Thursday night with little recovery time going into this game today.

The Rangers juggernaut is going from strength to strength Goldson,Balogun,Aribo,Roofe were outstanding today.

McLaughlin is suspect and on today’s showing does give me self confidence in the Gers goal
I keep saying it we have to get Ben Siegrist from Dundee Utd in the January transfer window
By far the best goalkeeper in the Scottish premier league if we get him we win the league title and £45,000,000 we’ll worth paying £1,000,000 for this brilliant keeper.

Lundstram is blowing hot & cold which is a shame at the moment jury is still out on this lads ability as a Rangers player.

Stevie biggest problem and Achilles heel is the teams lack of concentration in every game we play we get caught out time and time again all our own doing playing out from the back is not good to watch the only team in Britain that is excellent playing out from the back is Manchester City only my opinion even that lot across our City are terrible at playing out from the back.

All in all we get 3 points and good old Goodwin gets nothing here we go for 2 in a row
    CMON the Gers.

  2. I’m a bit fed up hearing it was a gritty performance and that’s the type of game you need to grind out to win Championships. It may be true and it’s great that we are winning but how about going out and playing like Champions and win the games comfortably like we should. Seems to me there is always another “Hearts” round the corner.

  3. I have to admit I was a more than a little concerned yesterday when St Mirren scored. However we could have won this easily but for some poor finishing . We still need to bury teams and be ruthless but I’ll take 4 clear of that lot who are piss poor at the back still and three clear of Hearts. I would like to see how young Patterson would go in the right side of midfield Onwards 56.
