We did not play well today, we did not look sharp, and our play was lacking cohesion.
But we never gave up. Despite that sizzling Ronan strike, and the multiple calamities that led to it, Rangers never stopped in this match.
This is the kind of win that secures titles.
We didn’t play as badly as we did at Dundee, and we showed more grit, determination and a never say die attitude.
This is why breaking Celtic hearts mattered so much.

I’m a bit fed up hearing it was a gritty performance and that’s the type of game you need to grind out to win Championships. It may be true and it’s great that we are winning but how about going out and playing like Champions and win the games comfortably like we should. Seems to me there is always another “Hearts” round the corner.
I have to admit I was a more than a little concerned yesterday when St Mirren scored. However we could have won this easily but for some poor finishing . We still need to bury teams and be ruthless but I’ll take 4 clear of that lot who are piss poor at the back still and three clear of Hearts. I would like to see how young Patterson would go in the right side of midfield Onwards 56.
