Surprise exit confirmed for Rangers attacker
He's finally left....

It has been confirmed Nathan Young-Coombes has indeed finally left Rangers, after the 18-year old’s Ibrox career sadly faltered before it could ever get going.

The attacking midfielder was seen as a promising replacement for Billy Gilmour, arriving from Chelsea, but he never got close to the senior breakthrough and now leaves for pastures new.

It just didn’t quite click for NYC – after his promising appearances a few years ago in youth cups for the club it looked bright, but after that and the stories he was homesick, his form and profile faded completely from the front lines and he barely merited a mention any more.

Rumours 6 months ago had him joining Brentford and we will find out fairly soon if that comes to pass, but either way sadly he just didn’t eke his way to the Rangers first team.

It’s a shame, but it didn’t gel for him at Ibrox like we’d hoped, and we wish him the best going forward.
