Rangers have returned from their summer break to resume work at Auchenhowie in preparation for the new season, and Ibrox Noise brings you a who’s who of the personnel we noticed back at the RTC for the new campaign.

New signings:

Nnamdi Oboforh has arrived in Govan now, and is effectively a Rangers player – albeit his contract with Bournemouth hasn’t technically expired yet, he is present and ready. Fashion Sakala is not yet apparently in Scotland despite leaving home for his new adventure on the 25th.

Loan returns:

All major players away on loan are back at Auchenhowie – Robby McCrorie, Glenn Middleton, George Edmundson and Jordan Jones have returned. A second chance? The only one we think has a real future at Ibrox is McCrorie, because he’s being groomed as McGregor’s successor. Kai Kennedy wasn’t present but we do have a story on him later…

And general returns:

Kemar Roofe, Steven Davis, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Calvin Bassey, James Tavernier, Cedric Itten, Joe Aribo, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun, Jermain Defoe, Ianis Hagi, Stephen Kelly, Lewis Mayo, Ben Williamson, Scott Wright, Jack Simpson, and the welcome sight of fit-again Niko Katic have all gloriously made their way back home.

The ones we’re waiting on are Alfredo Morelos, Nathan Patterson, Jon McLaughlin, Filip Helander, Glen Kamara and Borna Barisic all of whom will return from summer duty imminently – they may get a little extra time off for recuperation, albeit frankly only Glen Kamara needs any. But that’s yet another story.

Life is returning to normal at Ibrox.
