Revealed – some myths blown as Rangers players dish dirt
This series is really fantastic....

Rangers TV’s ‘teammates’ series might be one of the best and most insightful collections the club has come out with since its TV revamp recently.

The videos with the various members of Rangers’ squad gives one of the best views of what the players think about themselves, and their fellow peers, and contrasts it with what the fans and media think.

And the results will definitely raise some eyebrows.

In this piece we take you through some of the most intriguing and eye-opening reveals this fascinating series has made:

Greg Stewart thinks George Edmundson is the best defender at Ibrox. ‘Has everything’ he says.

All team mates think Ryan Jack is the best trainer, universally. Not even a doubt.

Not a single video even mentions Ianis Hagi (aside his own) till James Tavernier includes him in his fives team.

Jermain Defoe, as if we didn’t already know, is widely regarded as the best finisher. No contest.

Niko Katic, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Jack are, give or take, the toughest.

Smartest? You’d be surprised – Allan McGregor might not sound like Einstein, but the boy has a brain, and other players know it.

Universally Ryan Kent is regarded as the quickest, with some nods to Brandon Barker.

Kent is also seen as the most skilful, but a few also mention Joe Aribo in there.

Connor Goldson is seen as the loudest and most vocal, not Tavernier or indeed Allan McGregor.

And manager one day is mostly seen as Steven Davis, while Tav offers Scotty Arfield for his pick.

It’s a great series – it blows away what fans think about the squad in favour of what they really know about themselves.

It’s definitely the best thing RTV have shown (aside our glorious matches of course) in many, many years.
