Neil McCann got some attention with his assertion that Finnish star Glen Kamara could easily ply his trade for Arsenal.

We’d have to say this statement is not only true, but actually kind of pointless.

We respect McCann a lot, he’s a wise old dog and he knows the game, but Arsenal right now are in dire straits and not attractive for anyone at all, let alone a rising star of the game like Kamara who’s easily worth into the £30M range.

So could he play for them standing on his head, as our former wing wizard put it? Well yes, yes he could, but given Arsenal’s standards are not great right now, that’s not especially high praise.

What he’s really getting at is Kamara can play for a top 6 PL team with ease, and yes, yes he could.

Kamara is that good, and he’s that valuable an asset at Rangers.

His form might have been a little quieter in December but the last two matches have definitely seen a more polished level from the Finn, and he looks more like the top class player he is.

There’s little doubt at some point a massive bid will come in for him – he’s a lucrative asset and he’s going to net Rangers a mammoth payday at some point.

But he’s one Rangers would definitely prefer to hold onto, given just what he can give this club.

And yes, that probably includes standing on his head.
