Stuart McCall: "I'll know my Rangers future within two days"

Rangers manager Stuart McCall has confirmed he will be meeting soon-to-be confirmed Rangers chairman Dave King within the next two days regarding his future.

Following his side’s hard-fought win in the first leg of the Premiership playoff semi finals against Hibernian, McCall stated that a meeting with newly-approved by the SFA King is imminent. He said:

"I'm having a meeting with him in the next 48 hours.”

McCall is hopeful that he can win a deal for next season, especially if he manages to get his Rangers side promoted given the shambolic state it was in when he took over, but given speculation over the past week regarding approaches for replacements, the manager will be wary that he is far from guaranteed the position.

The meeting with King will surely shed light on his chances of getting the job permanently, and the South African-based businessman was in attendance last night to witness the victory over Alan Stubbs’ side.
