Philippe Clement has lost patience with Rangers’ injury crisis and specifically, questions on it.

The Belgian manager quipped after a week or two in the job that at times he was feeling more like a doctor than a football manager, with all the issues he was facing regarding injuries and questions on them.

But at his pre-Dundee presser he began to snap at the topic, with journos admittedly asking a few of the same questions.

He said:

“No, I’ve given out my information about injured players, now I want to focus on the fit players because I’ve been talking enough about injured players the last couple of weeks. It’s a big blow for the players because they were really motivated, hey were ready for the story and performing well and now it’s to focus on the guys who are fit because we have really important games to come.”

Definitely starting to lose a little bit of composure over the topic, understandably.

He went on:

“It’s not important anymore. I just said I’m going to speak now about the fit players. I’ve given all the information about the injured players.”

Clement has been on record as saying he’s never seen any injury epidemic at a club quite like this, that this level of blight of fitness is unprecedented to him at all clubs he’s ever been at, probably including his playing days.

And he’s gotten a bit testy over the whole topic – Rangers’ injury issues have been such a dominant topic within fans and the media that it’s simply annoying him now.

It’s understandable that the questions need to be asked, and understandable that he’s had enough with answering them.

Welcome to Rangers, Philippe.
