Attention, 100%, is now St Johnstone tomorrow night.

It is utterly diabolically important Rangers do not sit with heads on cloud 9 and lose momentum against a side coming to Ibrox who would love to crush our moods after such a big win.

Rangers are off the back of one of the best weeks the club has had in a generation, so this is perfect fodder for St Johnstone to ruin the ‘party’ by even nabbing a draw in Govan.

Manager Philippe Clement agrees:

“The message to the players this week has been has been to get back to our marathon. Last week we had two sprints and we now step back into our marathon and prepare for tomorrow.”

Very true words.

He went on:

“We must switch quickly.”

The players are absolutely allowed to enjoy the win on Sunday, of course, but the crushing blow to drop points now after this historic week will not be lost on Clement, and the manager is 100% adamant that the ‘marathon’ is back on and it’s now 100% on beating Craig Levein’s notably-improved St Johnstone.

Imagine the comedown if we don’t win this one, and this is a match in hand.

To point out it’s must win is understating it a bit, because of how much rides on keeping up the momentum and pressure on current league leaders Celtic.

What a flunk it would be to lose points on a game in hand.

So win win win. That’s what it’s all about.

Forget Sunday, it’s completely done.

We move on, and we keep winning.
