Philippe Clement announces another Rangers injury
Clement isn't thrilled with the bare-bones squad he has.

Rangers have been hit by a new injury blow after Scott Wright’s situation, which we had completely forgotten to report on Ibrox Noise, continued.

The ex-Aberdeen winger, sidelined since Sparta at Ibrox on the 9th, has been AWOL from matchday squads since then, and while we can’t say he’s exactly been missed, it does mean his pace, a useful trait, is not available as a weapon later on in matches.

He joins Nico Raskin and Ryan Jack on the sidelines as the three players currently unavailable for Rangers alongside the strange on and off case of Kemar Roofe, and this does limit Rangers’ options hugely tomorrow, not including Connor Goldson’s suspension.

With no Balogun or Ridvan in defence, and no Raskin, Jack, Wright or potentially Roofe tomorrow, Rangers host the Greeks Limassol with one of the thinnest squads we’ve ever seen at that kind of level.

While only three of the players are missing through injury, the appalling management of ex-boss Mick Beale continues to haunt Rangers on European match days, limiting massively the possible team manager Philippe Clement can actually deploy.

There isn’t even depth at the back with Connor Goldson’s ineligibility. Which forces Davies and Souttar which has never been tried before.

Either way, Wright is out, Jack is out, Raskin is out, Balogun is out, Ridvan is out…

Lots of depth…
