Michael Beale has confirmed Fashion Sakala as an exit after admitting the player is negotiating with Saudi clubs.
The Zambian striker has been subject to a tonne of speculation about his departure from Rangers, but the club and Beale, as Ibrox Noise reported in recent days, accepted the £4M bid offered by the Middle East and Sakala is now in Saudi Arabia discussing his move there.
Simply put he isn’t wanted by the club or the manager, and while some fans will be unhappy, as they were with the same ruthlessness over Antonio Colak, Michael Beale’s decision is final.
Sakala has been reluctant to accept this move, with Saudi Arabia maybe not being everyone’s cup of tea as a destination, but after being told Beale he was now surplus has had to accept the move or sit on Rangers’ bench.
So that’s that.
Rangers have accepted the bid, and it’s up to the Zambian to sort terms or accept Rangers’ bench.
He’s finished as a first-pick at Ibrox.
To put it bluntly Goodbye to him, I will not be sad to see him head off to well anywhere.
Apparently Sakala, Matondo, Davies, Kamara & Roofe have all been left off the official Team Sheet handed into UEFA last night. 💙💙
