Rangers have made a new friend after CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria wrote to the club to offer heartfelt congratulations, describing Rangers’ Journey to 55 as ‘dedication beyond imagination’.

Indeed, press globally are going nuts for what this club has achieved, with papers globally covering the story, with even Italian giants Gazzetta Dello Sport making space for it, despite an insular disinterest generally in stories outside of Italy.

In terms of Bulgaria, Sofia penned a letter remarking how Rangers’ Journey was similar to their own, and they were stunned at how we had risen to the top from the very lowest ebbs.

The truth is, for all Celtic think the world loves them, it’s all about the Rangers and everyone all over the planet is taking interest in Rangers’ story.

As regulars to Ibrox Noise will know, we have had a massive influx from the Balkans recently, with Romanian punters especially joining up – obviously on the back of Ianis Hagi’s transfer and subsequent success.

But now the good folk of Bulgaria have started to make themselves heard as well, with Sofia feeling a connection to our club thanks to their own similar plight.

It’s a hell of a time to be a Ranger.

Long may it continue.

  1. Very nice comments from most real football people Outside Scotland . Pity those disrespectful twats in Scotland can’t do the same .I always said once we won 55 the silence would be deafening , I didn’t expect it to be nothing more than glib acceptance. I think only Peterhead FFS have congratulated us , unless others know something I dont . Fuck them all Christie s comments pretty much sum up what the rotten mob think, wretch
