Looking ahead to tomorrow now, and Rangers welcome Dundee United to Ibrox, with Rangers getting the Arabs at a pretty good time.
In short they’ve been rank under Mickey Mellon, and despite being in an ok 7th place in the league, they only have two wins since late December.
While we wouldn’t be so arrogant to assume the points against a rotten team cough Hamilton cough if Rangers show up tomorrow and treat the match with the respect it deserves, it really should be another three points and just three wins from 55.
In terms of personnel, Rangers are monitoring where James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe are. Sadly neither of them are in a good place, and could miss the bulk of the rest of the season, and certainly the next few matches which should lead Rangers to the title.
So we’re going to see the likes of Scott Wright and Ianis Hagi feature more up front, while Leon Balogun is near-certain to start at RB.
But we don’t want a Euro hangover. We know Thursday took it out of us, and took two players from us, but there’s no denying we need to be focused and fully alert tomorrow.
Anything less than 100% and we’ll see another stale, struggled 90 minutes.
And we just want the 3 points.
