Overseas Rangers fans have been dealt a blow after it was confirmed Galatasaray have seized exclusive streaming rights for the coverage of Rangers v Galatasaray on Thursday and have reserved video only for Turkey.

Ex-pats currently anywhere outside the UK in Europe will be unable to watch the live Europa match between the two after rights were restricted, leaving no option but for the audio stream and nothing else.

It presents a bit of pain for those ‘less technical’ with technology and means a lot of supporters elsewhere in Europe outwith Britain will be unable to watch the match on RTV especially which is of course the main hub for club football with the Famous.

There may of course be TV broadcasting alternatives but we’re not aware of anyone else being able to secure the rights and some fans will likely elect for ‘educational’ streams, which of course we do not endorse.

If anyone can enlighten us to alternative and legal video broadcasts we’re unaware of, kindly drop a comment.

A shame for many.
