With all the flux in midfield that we’ve alluded to here on the site, we also raised the topic of the returning Jordan Rossiter and Greg Docherty.
Both enjoyed superb spells in England with Bury and Shrewsbury respectively, but will report back to Auchenhowie for pre-season when work begins in earnest for the new campaign.
But what will Stevie do with these two in light of all the talent he has in that position and the changes being made there?
Ibrox Noise put it to a poll and was pleasantly surprised when a massive 71% wanted both players back at Ibrox, be it as squad depth or first team options.
Only 13% wanted them sold while 16% advocated a continued ‘learning experience’ of further loan spells for both.
Evidently both of them are fan favourites and supporters would love to see them back in our colours, for the majority – Rossiter proved his fitness down south, and Docherty his flexibility.
Both won several MOTM awards and Docherty bloomed as an AM, which was thoroughly unexpected.
Whether manager Steven Gerrard will agree with the majority remains to be seen, however.
