Shock photo appears to confirm stunning new Rangers injury blow....

Rangers appear to have been hit with yet another untimely injury blow after Albanian winger Eros Grezda was photographed in Tenerife on a set of crutches with a brace.

The former Osijek man took part in training with no obvious problem, but the snap that emerged later on yesterday seems to speak for itself.

We can’t fathom any other reason why Grezda would be on crutches with a leg brace but for a serious injury, and it’s feasible it was sustained near the end of the session.

Steven Gerrard’s Croatian signings really haven’t worked at all so far, with Borna Barisic long-term injured it seems, Nikola Katic out of favour now and Grezda (admittedly Albanian) seeming to have joined the injured list.

If the winger is back in training tomorrow, hopefully this will just have been a bizarre and extreme precaution.

A very extreme precaution.

  1. Doesn't look good. He's been stop start since he joined. Should probably take the rest of the season to sort himself out so that he's good to go for pre-season

It's not like we'll miss his contribution.

He looks a talent. But I'm somewhat perplexed as to why we signed an injured player in the 1st place, we've not got enough money to take gambles like this.

  2. He's starting look like an injury prone player. What sort of medical did he have if he was injuries when we signed him. Not really done much when he has been fit. Looks like a waste of money to me

    1. What I want to know is how this injury came about. We are out in a training camp with our own players having a kick about game and one of our own players has went in over the top and this is the result not good enough. We don't take aggression out on our own players we keep that for other teams very disappointed.

  4. Morelos , McGregor or Tav being injured is a stunning blow not Grezda .He has not even figured in the squad in the last two games. It weakens the squad a bit but it won`t have much of an impact .As for being injury prone , he was injured when we signed him and we knew that , now he`s taken a sore one in training , it happens , it doesn`t mean he is injury prone .Lets give the guy a chance , to get fit and settle before we write him off.
