The 22-year old midfielder was connected with a loan move to Ibrox but a number of reports suggested he had changed his ambitions to the lower league French outfit – it appears that was not accurate and Rangers’ options in creative midfield are set to be increased this week assuming the ex-Bastia man’s UK work permit (as an African national) comes through.
Meanwhile Rangers continue to wait for fellow African (Nigerian in his case) Umar Sadiq’s own permit too, and hopes are high that both these loans can ratified by the time Rangers take the field on Thursday to face Shkupi – while Friday’s UEL deadline has long-since passed, teams in said competition are allowed two wildcard entries – and in Rangers’ case that would be Sadiq and Coulibaly.
Hopefully these deals get over the line in time.
Aye more lies by our press. Rangers applied for 2 work permits for 2 Africans over a week ago to the home office, can't be paraded untill the home office get there shit together.
Don't expect any rush from that SNP getting it cleared by London.
Sadiq’s was meant to be paraded Friday but no fuking WP.
Both won't be fit enough for this round anyway so it won't matter.
Same team that started Friday will start Thursday as long as everyone stays fit and Flanagan can last 90 mins!??
Agreed these guys will need a few matches as subs to acclimatise to their environment. Kinda hope it's the same team with a stinger bench and maybe John at home and Flannigan away.
The tarriers never seem to run into these delays getting WPs fast tracked. Just saying.
we just don't know what to believe these days, hope both players get their permits soon
What the feck has the snp got to do with the home office . Wee surgeon and her crew have no influence on home office and work permits
We have to go through Edinburgh to get to London.
And as the OP above says no fuking problem if UR a soap dodger!!
The fact that they hate everything we stand for maybe. Wake up
Excited to see Big Sadiq leading our Foward Line 😁⚽👊
…like an African Hateley hope he manages to get a few goals while hes with us.
Think we should also try and get McBurnie …js 🤗👍
I think a bit of caution is required with the loans. I'm not a fan..generally young players take time to settle at our club, especially players from abroad. If we signed these guys on a permanent contract, I'd be saying give them till their 2nd season before expecting good consistent performances.
