A day after confirming the signature of QPR’s utility midfielder Sean Goss, Rangers have been heavily linked with a move for Hamilton’s Greg Docherty.
The 21-year old midfielder has impressed for Martin Canning’s side this season, and Rangers are said to be looking at him for a possible six-figure sum.
With Rangers’ options in midfield a little troubling of late (Dorrans, Jack, Rossiter), and having almost certainly lost out on Celtic-bound Lewis Morgan, Rangers have turned their attention to U21-Scottish international Docherty.
The creative midfielder, who has bagged three goals this term, is also eligible for Republic of Ireland through Irish grandparents, and having been left out recent Scottish squads, has admitted it is an option – but is just glad his form has left plenty of parties interested in his qualities.
This is one we would be very interested in, and would be a fine replacement for the loss of Morgan for sure.

The Goss move is clear evidence there is no money for transfers. If we can sell then perhaps that might change.
The fact we are recalling players who clearly aren't good enough is concerning. Pedro made many mistakes but he was right to move Dodoo, MOH and Halliday on. They are not good enough to do anything other than add numbers.
Instead of learning from past mistakes we are doomed to repeat them. It looks like yet another transfer window where instead of improving the team we are treading water.
We NEED quality not quantity. We need players who can handle the fans who are heckling the team during games, and players with quality who can turn possession into goals. We need the investment promised, not lies and excuses. If board can't or are unwilling to provide this then they must be forced out.
Those who think otherwise please give me details of a single independant football expert that supports your view, because plenty support mine. Please don't give me the pathetic conspiracy theories about everyone being against club – it's beyond childish.

wow, heard the clock is ticking big time for Mr K, while performances look a good bit better with Murty at the helm, there are too many unanswered questions the we appear to be hiding from, thought I would stay off the forum for a few months like some others who have perhaps been banned, hard to say, but not many posters on now who questioned Mr K in any way!! It seems we are neglecting our defence as usual. We need two big centre halves and now cover in the LB with Beerman out on loan. Lee Hodgson is no player!! I would even find it difficult to give that lad a job as ball boy!
