McCulloch repeats: "I'm going nowhere"

Lee McCulloch has once again confirmed his intention to remain at Ibrox beyond this season.

Asked about his ambitions, he once again repeated what he said before:

“Of course, I want to stay here, I want to play a big part in the run-in and take the club back to where we want to be.”

As ibroxnoise.co.uk brought you some time ago, McCulloch has no intention of either hanging up his boots or leaving Rangers this summer, and fully intends to win a new deal.

Given the revelations this site also brought you regarding the clause in his contract, this will not go down especially well with Rangers fans who are losing patience with Big Jig, whose atrocious aerial challenge nearly cost his team two or more points today, given it saw the captain sent off two minutes before the turnover this afternoon, and the Ibrox skipper can thank his manager for bailing him out.

It would be very surprising if Rangers offer McCulloch another deal.

  3. Liability. Too slow, not a captain and never a centre back in a million years.

Cheers Jig....don't let the door hit yer arse on the way oot.

  5. If McCulloch stays it will confirm the suspicions of many fans that we are caught in a time warp. FFS sake we need to move into the modern football world and away from this crippling ethos of good old player X and Y deserve a berth for life. They played, they were well paid. Goodbye.
Supporters are no longer willing to spend their hard earned wages to support aging has-beens who throw out a few media sound bytes about loving the club. Perhaps I'm out of step? We are not a 21st century football club? We are in fact a charity for the aged and infirm.
As well as Chief Gardener Ally and Compost Manager McDowell lets support Lawn Trimmer McCulloch for the rest of his life. Perhaps we can all arrange a direct debit from our accounts for Lee. A testimonial for Messrs Smith, Boyd and Dally? Get behind the team by wising up to these chancers!

    2. Right ye are. No more exorbitant wages for the undeserving. McCulloch is in that category.

There's getting behind the team and there's puting up with shite like him. I'll have the former, you the latter. Can't have both.

  6. What a result today!! McCulloch suspended for 3 games! Heaven!
Lee apologises again for being a disgrace. Panic merchant. Does not understand how to play the position. A total liability. McCall's credibility is on the line with this guy.
