pleased to announce’ a loan from majority shareholders Laxey Partners and the
Easdales, then the nonsense news that once again McCoist has been ‘reassured’
(for the 18th time) there will be no repetition of 2012’s plunge into
administration.

First off the result on Saturday.
Ok, there is no denying Templeton was refused a stone-wall penalty and his
booking was abject. There is also no question the referee was dire. But there
is no getting away from the simple fact that Stenhousemuir are the first team,
this season, other than Forfar in the League Cup, to really test Rangers’
rearguard. And naturally, like a house of cards made from rice paper, it
crumbled embarrassingly. A ridiculous free header for Stenny’s second goal
showed just why Lee McCulloch is not a defender, and Emilson Cribari is not a
footballer.

and McCulloch seems to have secured his slot by default. This is not to attack
Jig – he has been a great servant to the club and he is a true gent too, but
even he must know he is a very poor stopper. If Lee McCulloch plays in Rangers’
defence in the semi final (assuming we make it) V an SPL side, we will not make
the final. Our defence is like a balloon – and the needle remains at distance
when the opponent is kept at bay. Give us a better opponent, or let any
opponent at our balloon, and it pops.

The next aspect is that loan.

absolutely spot on by saying we would run out of our own cash by April. He

for Rangers’ financial woes, but he stated:

Well clearly we need said
unsecured facility because with the announcement that the club has made a
secured loan of £1.5M from two major shareholders (to be repaid as shares) the
club is in more dire straits financially than Wallace was willing to admit but
most observers, yours truly included, stated. The current loan is secured
against Edmiston House and Albion Car Park, so if Rangers do not convert the
capital into shares (doing so will give Laxey and Easdale even greater power)
those two assets will be lost.

becoming a broken record. And the worst part is we cannot be sure it is true. How can we be?

Rangers are a high and a low
right now – one minute good news, the next it is bad. After the lull of
post-AGM it honestly felt like I had been wrong to say that would be the start
of the real nightmare.

Surely "those two assets will be lost" only if the loan is not repaid once due?
You wanted this lot kept in power Danny. Unfortunately so did enough ostriches with shares during the AGM.
Well said Anon @ 19.54 – I have a distinct recollection that Ibrox Noise backed this board! As for Stockbridge being proved right well he said APRIL and we're clearly borrowing to pay Februarys wages! Perhaps Danny can refer us to the blog where he said our financial state was worse than the board had said – because I dont remember a word of it?!!

I cannot disagree with any of your points, especially the difference a week has made, results and the administration side of Rangers Football Club.
On the aspect of the £1.5m loan, a bit of transparency would be good, but I wonder if things were made public AND it was found out to be true what all the scaremongers are saying about our finaces. Would we want it all publicised AGAIN? I am not so sure, haven't we as the collective Rangers Supporters suffered ridicule enough. If we need these loans to tide us over or haul us from the abyss then thats what we have to put up with and whether we like it or not, if these loans have to be paid back from 'the fans' season tickets, then so be it. Do we want our club to enter administation again? Until such times as someone else or a group takes control of our club, we have to go along with it.
Onto football matters. Has Ally got an excuse for the performance on Saturday? The first cry we hear is Cribari is to blame, he played in nealry every game for us last season and was the scapegoat when we had our terrible results. In the early games Goian and Bocanegra played in those games. If you check the games Cribari played in we lost few games and if my memory serves me right, he didn't have all that many howling mistakes. Another point about Cribari, how on earth can he be match fit? Am i defending him, it may seem so, but I am just pointing out some facts. McCulloch unfortunately is a spent force, he constantly is caught out of position and on Saturday Lee Wallace defending was particularly awful.
My main gripe stems back to McCoist; we played last yeat in the 4th tier of Scottish football and at corner kicks we defended with 11 players in the box. WHY??
On Saturday Stenhousemuir had the number 11 (2 goals he scored) at the halfway line, leaving two of our players to mark him. A juvenile coach will tell you have at least one player at the halfway line and another midway between 18 yard box and halfway. So still in this league we have 11 players in a congested penalty box, neither wonder we conceded the penalty on Saturday.
My final point is when we have a corner, almost every Rangers player is at the fron post or occasionally in the middle, we never leave a player at the back of the box or at the D to pick up loose balls.
Ally is becoming more of a joke, to other supporters, not to us, but like another legend who managed us John Grieg, he is now Ally McCoist the legendary striker, but Ally McCoist the poor manager and tactician.
Even after all this past few years suffering, I for one still back my club, a club I have supported knowingly for 57 years (I am 60 this year) ans always will
