Two ex-Rangers reunited at Rangers as life moves on

Ibrox Noise would like to join the swathes of Rangers fans wishing Leon Balogun all the best at Queens Park Rangers, as Michael Beale’s side confirms the addition of the Nigerian colossus.

Balogun, who loves all things Rangers, couldn’t quite secure that deal extension at Ibrox, so went for the smaller Rangers (with all due respect) and Loftus Road, with the brilliant Beale at the helm, and now gets his career continuing.

Apparently he had a lot of offers, not surprising, but of course Rangers fans remain disappointed that he moved on from the club, that the board didn’t offer him a new deal.

We explained why this is, even if we have no explanation for why we targeted a similarly-injured defender in John Souttar to replace him, albeit that signing was actually to replace Goldson. It’s all very complicated.

But fans did like Balogun a lot, and now he will strut his stuff in England’s Championship.

Beale? He’s made an ok start in management – in the league it’s 2W 2D 2L. About as mixed as it gets and they’re 11th.

We wish him, and Balogun, the very best in their new careers.

They both cannot leave the Rangers.
