We warned you. A week or so ago we warned of the war of words our club was ready for with the SNP, and here we are.

Let’s face it, our fans didn’t help themselves with some of their antics, but the reality is this government were waiting to pounce on the gathering whatever they did.

All the lip service we’re seeing now was pre-planned, and would have happened had our fans completely behaved.

After all, we saw this same media and government attack following the first gathering at clinching 55, the same attacks on the club despite no issues whatsoever with fan trouble.

No, this had nothing to do with fans misbehaving, albeit some did, this had everything to do with a sustained attack on our club that will continue.

Some might say we’re feeding paranoia and we’re mentalists – hell, maybe they’re right.

But as we told you long before this happened that it was coming. You said bring it on.

And brought it on we have.
