Should Rangers copy Chelsea?

I suggest Rangers taking a leaf out of Chelsea and Arsenal’s books as they changed their playing styles from the usual back-four formation to a much harder to beat three at the back with two hard working wing-backs, vital to the success of this move.

For those ‘Gers fans that will tell me that we are the Rangers and we should always be an attacking team, well what do you think Premier league winners Chelsea are?

Could Rangers make the most sensational signing in history?


When it comes to Hollywood signings down the years in Scottish football, it is Rangers who have always held the aces. While it did not work out, Joey Barton was a colossal capture, a signing which truly sent shockwaves throughout the land. Going back further and who can forget Paul Gascoigne, a signing so astonishing the English press were convinced it was Queen’s Park Rangers and not the Famous he was going to.

Even farther and for the older Bears the likes of Ray Wilkins, Chris Woods and Terry Butcher back in the day due to the Heysel Disaster was quite incredible – it was the equivalent in the modern era of Rangers signing Steven Gerrard, Joe Hart and John Terry.

Warburton on Allan: "We'll see what happens"



Mark Warburton today has left the Scott Allan saga open, and failed to pour cold water over reported interest from Rangers over the Hibernian playmaker’s signature.

Rangers have been long-linked with the former Dundee United midfielder, and would be a capture Rangers fans are eager to see materialise, and Warburton has not ruled it out.
