The boss, who has a habit of talking ‘nonsense’ in the press, is well-experienced in feeding rubbish to the media by throwing out various red herrings, keeping the papers, broadcasters and sites like Ibrox Noise guessing.
And only a few days after extolling the virtues of the utterly rubbish Jon McLaughlin (we’re bold enough to say that about him) as number one, he’s reverted back to Allan McGregor and suggested he’s the first pick.
On McLaughlin he’d said:

Now, under McLaughlin he did not explicitly announce him as the club’s outright number one, but he defended him to the hilt, and hinted strongly that he was more than comfortable with him between the sticks. At the very least, he strongly expressed that McGregor and McLaughlin are equal.
Now with these latest quotes, he’s dumping everything he previously said about McLaughlin and bringing McGregor back in. And even adding Robby McCrorie to the mix.
