Fashion Sakala being linked with a move out isn’t going anywhere, albeit the story is filled with contradictions from different groups.

Heart and Hand are said to be claiming he’s going nowhere, while ex-Rangers and Auxerre goalie Lionel Charbonnier says the opposite, and very few folk have a better relationship with these two particular clubs than the former Rangers number one.

Truth?

It hasn’t really worked yet for Sakala at Rangers – a perennial sub, while he’s fondly regarded by fans for his attitude and workrate, his technical ability and general awareness are very poor for a player of his age and experience, and if any side is in for him, we doubt Rangers would be desperate to hold onto him.

And that’s in light of a desperate lack of strikers at present!

In truth we never quite understood why we were in for him in the first place, his addition was very left field and very un-Gerrard.

But whether Rangers fan sites or ex goalies are correct we’ll see – and we don’t pretend to know any better the future of the man who comes from Zambia.
