Once again Celtic are unable to take responsibility for their actions after Rangers released a statement regarding the bottle-throwing from the home fans.

Remember, at Ibrox when a wee ned did this from the Rangers crowd, Rangers immediately condemned the kid, banned him for life, and PC Plod then charged him.

There were no ifs, no buts.

Yesterday, home fans were doing it towards Rangers fans, and the club rightly protested it.

Celtic’s response?

Complete denial, and just accused Rangers fans of it too.

The fact this club could not condemn its own fans and instead engaged in whataboutery on Rangers supporters shows the calibre of club Celtic actually are.

Over the years Rangers have been repeatedly willing to call out sections of our support which have shamed the wider fanbase, and our initiatives of inclusion have drawn widespread praise.

But Celtic? Their fans chuck bottles and the best the club can do is accuse Rangers fans of it instead?

There is no accountability, no apology, no willing to take responsibility.

No, it’s always the Big Bad Ranjurs.
