Confusion reigns over the ‘sale’ of Connor Goldson’s house amid ongoing rumours about his likely departure from Rangers.

The 29-year old stopper’s future has been subject to speculation ever since negotiations began in October 2020, and the former Brighton man never did accept any offered Rangers gave him thereafter.

But it was the breaking story last night, now-removed from two Scottish tabloids, that Goldson had put his house up for sale (and had sold it) that has set tongues wagging.

From what we understand, it was on sale, but was removed from public consumption once tabloids got wind of it, so we don’t know if it’s been taken offline or if he’s had a change of heart, albeit a dramatic one.

We know his family are settled here, and he himself has given occasion soundbites of wanting to stay, but he’s never been terribly convincing and has avoided any chat about his contract.

So, all we know of his house is it was briefly online, but has now vanished – whether it’s been turned into a private sale or he’s changed his mind, we don’t know.

End of the day, his likelihood of remaining is very low indeed, and plonking his house up for sale is another sign of that.

But what will be, will be.
