Scottish football gets on with it without SPFL – SPFL farce deepens

Farce. Complete farce....

Scottish football and Rangers in particular are today more than pointing the finger at the bumbling SPFL after the winter break farce grew more as fans observed the utter farce of the whole of Scotland playing on as normal, BAR the SPL.

A full card of football is scheduled for today, albeit there are 5 call offs due to Covid of 14 fixtures, and it means the SPL is the only top flight not to be playing its fixtures that should be.

England has a full card with just one call off, and the weather today is a very mild 10C meaning there’s quite literally no reason the break should be happening right now.

The bungling buffoons at the SPFL claim it’s to prevent fixture pile up for winter and via Covid, of course it is!

But it was so essential they didn’t bother to bring the other three leagues into it, few of whom are equipped with undersoil heating and far more prone to call offs.

In short, the management of this debacle goes clearly into corruption – bending to Celtic’s will.

It might look paranoid, but given the break was unnecessarily brought forward, and the Old Firm looks like it will be postponed AGAIN, all it looks like is the governors dancing to their tune.

To see three divisions all in action today while the only one actually equipped to handle winter weather is at home instead is just farcical.

A completely shambles of a situation.
