Former Rangers ‘target’ Wesley Hoedt has shamed himself and his club by mocking Rangers’ interest in him, as he degraded all of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Ross Wilson and the Famous Glasgow RFC, two of which are especially held by the Dutch press and football circles in the highest regard.
The pathetic response to the story from the defender was a staggering lack of respect, a colossally embarrassing insult, and definitely shows Rangers are much better off elsewhere.
He said:
If ever a player burned his bridges with a future transfer, it’s Hoedt.
It’s one thing to show respect to your employer by saying you’re staying, quite another to outright slur suitor clubs by degrading their interest with mockery.
Rangers only want players who would walk through coals to play for us, like James Sands and John Souttar.
Wesley Hoe…?
