The team from the east (we don’t even know what to call them anymore) piled on the hypocrisy recently after one minute registering the copyright/trademark for ‘Old Firm’ then next claiming there is no Old Firm or that they’re not half of it.

This story has been doing the wires for a while, and we were bewildered to see the astonishing double standards that club is well-known for being displayed again.

On one hand you have them carrying out the commercially wise practise of admitting there is an Old Firm and they’re one half, while their social media team on the other hand speaks officially on their behalf by stating there is no Old Firm.

At Ibrox, and indeed Ibrox Noise we couldn’t really care less any more, their club is generally an irrelevance – except when once again their hypocrisy and double dealing affects The Rangers.

And here it does, because now they are pretending something on one hand, but confirming the truth on the other.

Make sense of this nonsense folks?

Because we’re struggling to.
